Our Team

Tied To The Cause is a collaboration between Lee Sisters and a group of students at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota. These students are part of Enactus, which is an international organization that connects student, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their communities

JAY // barista. golf. leader. love what you do.

Jay is a sophomore pursuing an Entrepreneurship major and Business Law minor from the University of Saint Thomas. His passion for providing guidance and leading those around him can be seen not only in his presidential role in Enactus at UST, but in various leadership positions outside of school. Coaching youth softball, speaking on high school panels, and offering guidance and support for teens in households plagued by addiction through his own non-profit organization are just a few things that have contributed to his passion in working with organizations such as Tied to the Cause. In his free time, Jay enjoys his days by crafting drinks as a Barista, golfing whenever possible, and spending time with his dogs and family. Jay hopes to bring his life motto into everything he does; if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life

Eric is a sophomore pursuing an Entrepreneurship major at the University of St. Thomas. He is involved with several organizations and groups on campus such as Enactus, the University of St. Thomas Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble. Eric enjoys activities such as biking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. He believes traveling is important because you can learn so much about the different people in the world. Eric enjoys his time in Enactus and is excited about the impact that Tied to the Cause will have. He has been involved in volunteer work since a young age and appreciates the opportunities he has to help better the world. Eric believes that everyone has a story to share and that learning from those stories is what life is all about.

Miranda is a sophomore pursuing an entrepreneurship major at the University of St. Thomas. Her aspiration is to live in a world where people are grateful for what they have and gracious in what they do. Miranda believes that when people have hope in their passions, a strong connection is then made between that person and their cause. Building strong ties to your passions is what Tied to the Cause is all about. Miranda appreciates her family's support and enjoys spending time together traveling, hiking, and making wonderful memories.

Mikayla is a sophomore at the University of St. Thomas perusing a degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management along with a minor in Justice and Peace Studies. Mikayla hopes to pursue a career that blends her passions for civic justice and environmental sustainability into a business setting. Mikayla believes that everyone has an impactful story and that it is her calling as a young leader to help others be heard. This interest in people and sharing their story is why Tied to the Cause is such an important organization to her. In her spare time Mikayla enjoys splurging at local coffee shops, seeking out new bands in town, and spending time with her family.
